All creatives need an outlet to continue their inspirational journey. For Risse many times the internet has been capable of capturing her unique brand of creativity.
Risse enjoys life in Astoria, but only thrives in life when living with a distinct project or purpose. Although the Quarantine can be viewed as a time of great sorrow and isolation, Risse has managed to take on a variety of projects and the overhead buttons will take you to these featured on YouTube.
Quarantine Closet- This was Risse’s most recent artistic venture in which she went through her closet and explored the idea of remaining to be fashion forward even though their was no reason to be dressing up.
Michelle Risse Writer - This YouTube channel features the following videos: Promotional Video, Book Release Stream. The Promotional Video was completed as Surviving Singlehood in the Arctic was initially released under the pen name of Misha Randall. It is quite informative, hilarious, and provides a concise summary of the chapters within the first book.
The Book Release Stream is ultimately a musicalized book reading. It features Risse reading excerpts from Surviving Singlehood in the Arctic and relevant songs to enhance the emotional content that was discussed in that section of the book.
One Day More - Creating a musicalized number was an idea Risse decided to carry out towards the beginning of the Quarantine. She is incredibly proud with the final outcome of this project and marvels that the tune from Les Miserables was able to provide enough inspiration to complete a glorious project.
